The Red One
The Sabre-Six (SS) prod is an effective prod at an economical price. Initially introduced in 1956, it has been the standard for feedlots and stockyards for over 40 years. The SS motor (circuitry) is mechanical in nature, making repairs and adjustments easy.

The Green One
HS2000 Hot Shot permanently sealed drive motor which makes the unit moisture proof, shock proof, and extremely durable. Designed for the commercial users, the HS2000 provides longer battery life than any other Hot-Shot. Cases are constructed of rugged green ABS plastic. Shafts are made of polycarbonate. Exposure to extreme conditions will not damage the internal components of the drive motor.

The Blue One
Medium power prod built for everyday use, but durable enough for heavy use also. The LMPLUS features our Sealed Motor Technology so dirt and moisture can't damage the electronic circuitry (motor). It is available in 9 lengths and comes standard with 6 high amperage alkaline batteries. It also features our Sealed Motor Technology, which means the circuitry is completely sealed against the elements for maximum protection.

Alkaline Batteries
These units require six size 'C' alkaline batteries to operate. Hot-Shot has a High Amperage Alkaline Livestock Prod Cell that is designed to work best in electric prods. Because electric prods are considered a 'high drain device', a higher amperage gives the user the best performance and battery life. The Hot-Shot Battery will last longer and perform better than most 'off-the-shelf' alkaline batteries.

Hot Shot Power-Mite
The perfect hand-held prod for anyone doing close-in work. Makes a great second prod that easily fits into your pocket or optional leather holster. The Power-Mite requires two 9 Volt Alkaline batteries. Most 9 Volt cells on the market will work just fine (Energizer, Duracell, etc...).

Sorting Paddle
The Hot-Shot Sorting Paddle is quickly becoming a standard tool to aid in livestock handling. It is lightweight and comfortable to use for hours because of it's unique Golf Grip handle. You can shake the paddle and create noise to which animals respond. Perfect for moving hogs and cattle - can also be used for handling poultry. The paddle head (12" long and 6" side) creates a visual barrier that helps to guide animals.

Rechargeable Battery Pack
Hot-Shot has designed a Rechargeable Battery Pack. The RBP fits in place of the six 'C' alkaline batteries and can be charged using a 110 Volt (wall outlet) or 12 Volt (auto) charger. A Hot-Shot charger must be used with the RBP or the warranty on the RBP is void. Can be charged hundreds of times to save you money in batteries. One pack is equal to thousands of regular batteries.
