Weed-Out
PLUS LAWN FERTILIZER
INSTRUCTIONS
fertilome Weed Out PLUS LAWN FERTILIZER contains TRIMEC herbicide, a combination of three proven weed killer-2, 4-D, Mecoprop and Dicamba. Together they control a wide range of lawn weed, including Dandelion, Chickweed, Knotwee, Plantains, Henbit, Sprunge and many others commonly found in home lawn. In addition, a 25-4-4 fertilizer provides a supply of plant food. Possible retreatment may be necessary if (a) lawn is heavily overrun by weeds, or (b) if adverse low moisture conditions prevail and weeds are in a state of poor growth. A second application may be made in approximately 30 days. Do not use on Dichondra. Do not overapply. Under conditions of adequate moiseture, high temperature and high humidity, over application may cause minor transitory discoloration on St. Augustine.
The maximum application rate to turf is 0.3 pounds 2,4-D acid equivalent per acre per application per site. The maximum number of broadcast applications per treatment site is 2 per year.
1. Mow lawn to normal height 1 to 2 days before application.
2. Water lawn thoroughly at least 1 day before application to sustain moisture until the next watering
3. Apply when weeds are young and actively growing, preferably in the morning when dew is on the grass. If grass is not moist at time of application, sprinkle lighty with water to hold the material and prevent dust drift onto non-target plants.
4. Do not wash from weeds leaves for 1 to 2 days after application. At this time a thorough watering should be made.
HOW TO APPLY:
For Kentucky Bluegrass, Fescue, Perennial, Ryegrass, Bermudagrass, Zoysiagrass, St. Augustinegrass and Centipedegrass: Apply 4.0 pounds of product per 1,000 square feet of turfgrass. A second or follow-up application may be required for dense infestations of weeds or for adverse seasonal conditions. The second application of 4.0 pounds of product per 1,000 square feet should be used 30 days after the first application.
A uniform distribution of product on the treated area is essential. Choose a calm day to ensure uniform coverage and avoid spreading granules onto flowers, vegetables, and ornamental shrubbery. Do not exceed the application rate for any area and use care in the application of this product within the dripline of trees, shrubs and other ornamentals.
SPREADER GUIDE:
ONE BAG WILL COVER UP TO 10,000 SQUARE FEET

These settings can be used only as a guide, they are not absolute. The speed at which the applicator walks, spreader condition and the texture of the turf will alter the rate of application. If product remains in spreader after application to recommended square foot coverage, spread remainder over same area going at right angles.
