Winterizer & Weed Preventer FOR SOUTHERN GRASSES DIRECTIONS FOR USE Our research has proven that fertilome Winterizer & Weed Preventer for Southern Grasses is an effective means of killing germinating seeds in St.Augustine and Common Bermuda grass lawns. We recommend it for pre-emergent weed control.
1. WHAT IS THIS PACKAGE FOR? This prduct is to be used to control weeds and feed your lawn in one easy application. 2. HOW DO YOU USE IT? For best control, application should be made during dormat season and before weed seeds germinate... in most areas this will be November throught the early part of May. Using fertilizer spreader, apply one 16lb bag per 2,500 sq ft of lawn when grass blades are dry. Uniform coverage is important ot assure good weed control. See Chart below for propler fertilome spreader settings. ALWAYS WATER THOROUGHLY AFTER APPLICATION. SPREADER GUIDE
ONE BAG WILL COVER UP TO 2,500 SQUARE FEET These settings can be used only a s aguide they are not absolute. The speed at which the applicator walks, spreader condition and the turf texture will all alter the fertilization application.
