We Recommend fertilome ROSE FOOD because needed nutrients taken from the soil are put back in when you use this product. We think you will find the directions below complete and easy to follow: 1. WHAT IS THIS PACKAGE FOR? This package of fertilome ROSE FOOD was developed for people who want many richly colored roses. fertilome ROSE FOOD helps produce green leaves and essential new growth on which new blooms develope. 2. HOW DO YOU USE IT? ESTABLISHED BEDS AND BUSHES! Beds - Each month during the growing season apply 2-3/4 lbs (1-1/2qts) of fertilome ROSE FOOD evenly over each 100sq ft (4'x25') of rose bed. Avoid contact with bushes. Individual Bushes - Each month during the growing season, spread 1/3 cupful of fertilome ROSE FOOD evenly out under widest spread of branches. Avoid contact with plant. Cultivate lightly and water thoroughly. PLANTING NEW BUSHES: Beds - Broadcast 2-3/4 lb (1-1/2qts) of fertilome ROSE FOOD over each 100 sq ft (4'x25') of prepared rose bed. Mix into soil thoroughly. Individual Brushes - Mix one cup of fertilome ROSE FOOD with a portion of soil removed from hole. Place in mound in bottom of hole and cover with two inches of plain soil. Then spread roots of bush over mound and fill in with balance of soil. Firm soil well. 3. HERE ARE THE RESULTS YOU MAY EXPECT! Our experience has proven that fertilome ROSE FOOD, used as directed, will help produce large bushes and many beautiful blooms during the entire season.
