A Premium Lawn Food For Alkaline Soils
Dear Folks:
The fertilome people developed this premium lawn food especially for akaline soils. The added sulfur helps correct excessive akalinity while the extra iron makes grass really green.
HOW DO YOU USE IT?
Apply with a fertilizer spreader set from chart below. Make applications every 4 to 6 weeks during the growing season.
On warm Season Grasses such as Bermuda, St. Augustine apply one bag per 7,200 sq ft of lawn. Water in after application Use caution around cement and lawn ornaments as the iron will stain these items.
On Cool Season Grasses such as Bluegrass, Fescue, Ryegrass, Buffalo and other Native Grasses apply one bag per 10,800 sq ft of lawn. Make applications in early Spring, later Spring and early Fall. Use caution around cement and lawn ornaments as the iron will stain these items. Around Oraments and Shrubs apply 1/4 pound (about one cupful) for shrubs 3 to 4 feet across.Apply evenly under shrub and water in well.
Around trees apply 3/4 to 1 pound per each one inch of diameter about 3 feet above the ground. Apply evenly out to the drip line of the tree and water in well.

These settings can be used only as a guide, they are not absolute. The speed at which the applicator walks, spreader condition and the texture of the turf will alter the rate of application. If product remains in spreader after application to recommended square foot coverage, spreader remainder over same area going at right angles (see diagram).
