Active Ingredients: Benefin (Balan®) 1.0% Oryzalin (Surflan®) 1.0% Usage & Application: Weeds Controlled: Grasses such as Barnyardgrass, Crabgrass, Goosegrass, Johnsongrass (seedling), Panicum, and Sandbur. Broadleaf weeds such as Chickweed, Henbit, Lambsquarters, Pigweed, Purslane, Spurge, and Woodsorrel. Ornamentals: Amaze® Grass & Weed Preventer2 can be used on Abelias, Azaleas, Boxwood, Chrysanthemums, Euonymus, Gardenias, Geraniums, Hibiscus, Holly, Honeysuckle, Ice Plants, Impatiens, Junipers, Marigolds, Nandinas, Pansies, Periwinkles, Petunias, Photinias, Rhododendrons, Roses, Viburnums, Zinnias, and others. Application: Apply Amaze® Grass & Weed Preventer2 prior to the germination of annual weeds. Apply 4½ to 7 pounds per 1,000 square feet. Use the higher rate when control of weeds is desired for a longer period (six to eight months). Apply only to established plantings. Turf: Use Amaze® Grass & Weed Preventer2 for control of Sandbur (Grassbur) in warm season turf. Application to established St. Augustine, Bermuda, Centipede, and Zoysia grasses should be made prior to seed germination (early Spring). Apply at the rate of 2½ to 3½ pounds per 1,000 square feet. One 8 lb. bag covers 2,000 square feet for control of Sandbur (Grassbur) in established turf. Green Light Amaze® Grass & Weed Preventer2 is a selective, pre-emergence herbicide that is a surface applied (non-incorporated) treatment. Amaze® Grass & Weed Preventer2 will remain stable on the soil surface; however, rainfall or irrigation is needed to move the product into the weed seed germinating layer of the soil. Green Light Amaze® Grass & Weed Preventer2 feature EcoGranules®, a carrier that combines reliable performance and quality with environmental responsibility. The layered, onion-like structure consists of a cellulose fiber core surrounded by multiple coating layers, enabling biodegradable organic delivery systems of superior absorption. EcoGranules® are biodegradable. The fine fibers in the core of the EcoGranule® are recycled from fine industrial wood dust or other fine cellulose material.
