PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS

HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS

WARNING

Causes substantial but temporary eye injury. Harmful if swallowed, or absorbed through the skin. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Wear goggles, face shield or safety glasses. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water after handling. Do not contaminate feed or food.

First Aid

If in Eyes:

● Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses if present after the first 5 minutes, and then continue rinsing eye.

● Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

If Swallowed:

● Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice.

● Have a person sip a glass of water if able to swallow.

● Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or doctor.

● Do not give anything to an unconscious person.

If on Skin or Clothing:

● Take off contaminated clothing.

● Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes.

● Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

If Inhaled:

● Move person to fresh air.

● If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth if possible.

● Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS

This pesticide is extremely toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates. Do not apply directly to water. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwaters.

Apply this product only as specified on this label.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. This labeling must be in the possession of the user at the time of pesticide application.

For Control of Horn Flies, Face Flies, Biting Lice and Sucking Lice on Beef and Dairy Cattle (Including Lactating).

How to Apply: CyLence Pour-On Insecticide is a ready-to-use solution. To use the package dispenser on the one pint size, hold the container upright, remove the cap from the dosage chamber and gently squeeze the sides of the bottle to fill the chamber to the desired dosage. Apply the required amount of solution directly along the top of the back and top of the head of the animal.

Amount to Use: Apply CyLence Pour-On Insecticide at the dosages shown on the following table. Due to the small amount of material required, care must be taken to apply the correct dosage.

CyLence Pour-On Insecticide can be used on beef and dairy cattle (including lactating) of all ages and sizes. Treatment for flies can be repeated as needed but not more often than once every 3 weeks. For optimal lice control, an initial application followed by a second treatment 3 weeks later is recommended.

CyLence Pour-On Insecticide does not control cattle grubs.

NOTICE TO VETERINARIANS

As with all synthetic pyrethroids, a small percentage of animals may experience a temporary skin sensation known as paresthesia within 24 hours after application. Paresthesia is characterized by one or more of the following signs: head tossing, tail twitching, restlessness, and irritability. Generally, affected animals return to normal within 48 hours without treatment.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Not for Use or Storage In or Around the Home

Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.

Pesticide Disposal: Pesticide wastes are hazardous. Improper disposal of excess pesticide or rinsate is a violation of Federal law. If these wastes cannot be disposed of by use according to label instructions, contact your State Pesticide or Environmental Control Agency or the Hazardous Waste representative at the nearest EPA Regional Office for guidance.

Container Disposal: Triple rinse (or equivalent). Then offer for recycling or reconditioning, or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill, or incineration, or, if allowed by state and local authorities, by burning. If burned, stay out of smoke.

Pesticide Storage: Store in cool, dry place and in such a manner as to prevent cross contamination with other pesticides, fertilizers, food and feed. Store in original container and out of reach of children, preferably in a locked storage area.

Handle and open container in a manner as to prevent spillage. If the container is leaking, invert to prevent leakage. If the container is leaking or material spilled for any reason or cause, carefully dam up spilled material to prevent runoff. Refer to Precautionary Statements on label for hazards associated with the handling of this material. Do not walk through spilled material. Absorb spilled material with absorbing type compounds and dispose as directed for pesticides above.

Conditions of Sale: The directions on this label were determined through research to be appropriate for the correct use of this product. This product has been tested under different environmental conditions both indoors and outdoors similar to those that are ordinary and customary where the product is to be used. Insufficient control of pests or plant injury may result from the occurrence of extraordinary or unusual conditions, or from failure to follow label directions. In addition, failure to follow label directions may cause injury to animals, man, and damage to the environment. Bayer offers, and the buyer accepts and uses, this product subject to the conditions that extraordinary or unusual environmental conditions, or failure to follow label directions are beyond the control of Bayer and are, therefore, the responsibility of the buyer.
